I’ve been using GMail for quite sometime now and I normally downloaded all the new messages to Thunderbird when my PC is around.
At times, I might be outside and when I’ve decided to crash the whole day inside an Internet Cafe, I would normally check for new messages first in my GMail account (followed by all my other email accounts).
Why checking emails when I can do it at home? Well… Currently, I’ve owned 5 domains under my wing, 2 of them has 2 different accounts. At a total, I have 10 email account to check up with everyday. 10 email accounts… imagine how many SPAMs I received per day and how much time I have to spend a day just to clear them out.So since I’m going to crash at the Internet cafe for the whole day, I might as well do some maintenance to my email accounts too, at the same time, free myself from the time wasted at home.
Anyway, after I’ve done reading a message in Gmail, what I did is hit # key or SHIFT+3 to be precise, on the keyboard. And… that message will instantly move to trash.
Alternatively, I can also delete multiple messages using the hotkey too. All I need to do is select the messages from the message listing and hit the # key. All which I’ve selected will be instantly disappeared from my inbox. The selection will be in their new club house called TRASH folder. |
