This is a picked from one of my Best Answers section at Yahoo! Answers,
with the comment “short and sweet, but also very descriptive, thank you.”
from the asker. How cool is that? Haha.
Anyway, the question asked is:
Asked by: antony
Making a website?
how do you go about making your own website, with its own url and everything.
and how do you sell adspace on it? also, how do you make a website that you
know people will be visiting, and will not just collect dust in the back-cupboard
of cyberspace?
And my answer is:
how do you go about making your own website, with its
own url and everything. and how do you sell adspace on it
ans: webpage editor - frontpage or dreamweaver recommended.
how do you make a website that you know people will be visiting,
and will not just collect dust in the back-cupboard of cyberspace?
ans: promote you website everywhere, from Spamming in chat forums
to email blasting. but even if you did, there is no 100% results that people
will visit it and keep on visiting it. then another idea is using mailing list,
so if there is new update on your site, mail everyone on that mailing list and
say “visit my site now. there’s new update”.
