Here’s another good tip on how to search a website that don’t have search capability in em’. Let’s use DSDexigns as an example since I’ve removed the search box for a moment.
Somewhere in DSDexigns, there is an article on how you can search MP3’s using google search. And without knowing the easier way to look for it, you have to browse through all the Weblog entries just to find it. Alternatively if you play it smart, you would instead look at the dropdown menu underneath WEBLOG, then SOFTWARE, then GOOGLE, then GHACKS. Still, you have to browse through a couple of entries before you find it.
But what if you want an instant result, how would you get that article?
With Google search, of course.
The trick here is by using the magic command:
XXX site:URL
NOTE: Replace XXX with what you’re searching for and URL with the domain name without Www.
Using the tips above, head over to Google.Com
and type:
search mp3 site:dsdexigns.com
As a results… you’ll get this:
